Wishing a very happy birthday to angelofsnow!!! I felt this was relevant because CH is her and Kuma's lovechild, basically. :)

I've been experimenting a lot with Poser 6 lately, and since my Erik/Charles 3D art was met by so many positive responses, I decided to create my own virtual Mystique as well and pair her up with my virtual Magneto.

Here's the result! :)

Pic not worksafe!

While these are obviously based on the movie versions (i.e. Ian McKellen and Rebecca Romijn), Mystique has smooth skin instead of scaled in this piece. Why? Ummm, because scaled skin was nigh impossible to create in Poser... :/

So I thought the tie breaker vote was the magic answer. We did succeed in picking a first place icon, but still had a tie for 2nd. I went and made banners for everyone since all the icons deserve praise.

It's sudden death icon style! Okay that was lame. I'm tired. Give me a break.

Anyway, here's the poll to break the two ties in our icontest. genkaishihan's premonitions were right. She is now officially our resident psychic.

Break the tie. Vote now.

Yeah it happened again. There's a 4 way tie for 1st place in the Icontest. And a 3 way tie for Best Text, which is admittedly a hard category to pick for internet slang.

View the results here

Vote and break the tie

Or should I just get started on making those winner banners?

*tries to hide her face in shame*

I just got around to posting the voting poll, about a month late, for Icontest #5 - Internet Sayings. I'm really sorry that I completely blew it on this one. But here's the poll, complete with a question on how you can punish me for being an idiot.

Go vote on the poll

Did we ever have voting for our most recent icontest? I can't recall if we did or not. Was the deadline just extended a lot longer, or are we waiting for something? I'm looking through the entries, and I can't find anything. :(

*tee hee* I played hooky from school today, it was great. That senoritis is starting to kick in.

If you use Windows XP, I bet your computer is blue and boring and dull!
I've (finally!) finished a Magneto/Phoenix (hence the grey and red/orange colours, but it works with any Magneto pairing) theme for Windows XP with light and dark options. The theme is (or should be) ridiculously easy to install:
1. Download the required fonts and save the zip file wherever you like.
2. Extract the files to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
3. Downlaod the theme and save it to your hard drive.
4. Extract the .theme file to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes.
5. Click on the .theme file and when the "Desktop Properties" window opens, go to "Appearence" and select the light or dark theme.

I haven't included a wallpaper, soyou are free to choose you own. If you find any BUGS please post and I will attempt to fix them. Come on people! Fortune favours the brave, but overwhelms the cowardly.

Summary:  Look at the chapter title.
